Here You Are Elixir
Here You Are Elixir
Relax. Take a deep breath. Here you are.
Here You Are Elixir is an elixir to help ferry us into these darker months with a greater sense of mindfulness and embodiment.
This yew essence is one of my most beloved essences. I find yew to be so calming, grounding, embodying, and quieting to the mind.“You belong here” and “You are wanted here” are phrases that often come to mind when I feel into the yew tree. For those who don’t know, yew trees are some of the oldest living beings on the planet. They are slow growing and difficult to age so there’s some debate about how old the oldest ones are - estimates land somewhere between 400 years and 30,000 years (lol). They were historically often planted in churchyards and graveyards and have a history of being viewed as sacred which predates the church.
This tobacco essence is a new offering of mine. It’s different from the mapacho (sacred tobacco/rustica) essence that I’ve had available for a few years now. This tobacco essence was made from a beeeauuuutiful Nicotiana tabacum plant growing in my garden this year. As I type this now I can still see it standing tall in my autumn flower garden. This variety of tobacco is the most commonly grown one and it’s what is cultivated for use in the vast majority of tobacco products. Don’t let recent human history turn you off from this plant. Yes, they are currently widely misused and abused by humans who are not able to see it’s sacredness but it hasn’t always been this way. Those who have a plant spirit communication practice, I invite you to welcome in the energies of tobacco now and see what I mean!
These two essences come together in a tulsi, rose, and honey elixir. The addition of which are there to help the energies of the essences circulate.
I find this elixir to be helpful for those looking to feel a greater sense of embodiment and groundedness in one’s life. This feeling does not rise from a purely physical sensation, but from the knowledge that YOU DO BELONG ON THIS PLANET and you have a role to play in the great tapestry of life. If you are looking for clarity on your life’s path, or a more full sense of internal acceptance of said path, this elixir may also be of benefit. And for what it’s worth, when working with this elixir, I notice a relaxation of the pelvic floor and the desire to dance arise.
