As you may have heard me talk about before, I very strongly believe that when you make an essence, it’s not just about putting flowers in water and leaving it in the sun. Essences are energetic medicine and so whatever is happening at the moment of creation of the essence also becomes a part of the essence. This would include the mood/general spirits of the practitioner, astrological happenings, weather, the environment it’s being made in (i.e. city vs countryside), and so on. This is a large part of why you may feel a powerful effect from one essence but feel absolutely nothing from another. It’s also why I suggest being selective of whose essences you consume, because from my perspective, in a way, you’re also consuming that person!

Why am I mentioning all this? Because the day I made this Angelica essence I was in such a joyful mood! I was so happy to be alive and so happy to be making this essence. It may be one of my favorite essence making memories to date. And I believe you can feel this when you work with this essence.

This is all in addition to Angelica’s already very special energies. 

Clarity is a big keyword for me with Angelica. Clarity in the mind and in the spirit. There’s the feeling of having a bird’s eye perspective with this essence - this has the effect of bringing more lucidity to the intuition. I find this essence to be uplifting, bringing with it a sense that everything is right in the world. This Angelica essence can be helpful for those who are feeling uncertain about their path in life.

I feel this essence most in my crown and throat.

I don’t know why it took me so long to offer this as a single essence! I’ve added Angelica to a few of my blends over the years (Pathway + Celestine Dreams) but have never offered it on it’s own. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.

This Angelica essence is encased in a diluted organic Angelica root essence and spring water.

ingredients: essence of Angelica archangelica, extract of Angelica archangelica in organic vodka, spring water
